Off to Salford again tomorrow. It's uber cool there. You can see exactly where it changes from nice Manchester to scally territory. The Quays are scary though, the mall there is some kind of scary middle class dawn of the dead setting. The way everyone just headed towards it after Harry Hill finished...eeerrgh. The footage was classic though. Glad Joel had his phone on him.

Harry Hill was great btw, hopefully I will be able to see Dylan Moran early next year. Really annoyed because Mitch Benn is performing the day before my birthday in a Jazz club in Manchester and I won't be in Manchester until the day after, partly for my birthday, partly for a good browse around the department of music, media and performance at Salford. I want to find out just how much the Adelphi building looks like Doom, with it's underground floors, it's lift that doesn't stop on all floors and the floors between floors. May have to take some kind of hilarious floating gun prop to bob around at the bottom of my visual field as I look around.

Yay! My birthday soon! Going to see how much MST3K I can get. Already have Hobgoblins, only $6. Nate Johnstone you are a god. I'm still wondering what the box of face that Joel is getting me contains. I can't wait to open it.

Bought BloodRayne the other day, because I want to know what Uwe Boll(ocks) is up to now. Man it's rubbish, the visuals are on par with Tomb Raider 2 at best, and some of the animation is dreadful. I find it amusing though how the character Mynce's breasts wobble the moment she's on screen whether she's been moving or not. I'm liking it though. It's easy and good for a laugh. I also like the fact that you can kill someone and heal yourself at the same time, by a simple tap of the B button.

Oh, and I played Battlefield 2 last week and I kicked ass, even though I didn't know most of the controls because I couldn't find the manual. Found a nice little server as well where everyone is friendly and supportive, even though their particular 1337-b453d title would suggest they might not tolarate my n00byn355.

Anyway, I better go now. It's not good to still be in nightclothes at this time of day.
